The Moon on the Night You Were Born

The Moon’s real phase on a night that matters: a birthday, a wedding, the night you met. Add a name, the date, and the place, and see how much of the Moon was lit and when it was full. It is calculated for your date and place and tested against U.S. Naval Observatory phase times, so you can check it against any almanac. Then watch why: the Moon travels around Earth for a whole month, lit by the Sun, and pauses on your night. Watch it happen: a 3D Moon starts dark, sunlight sweeps across it to your night, and then the name appears. Show it on your TV as a video, or print it. Personal license. From $49.
